Kayleigh Gronseth (she/her)
Eco-Art Therapy Intern
Profile
About
Kayleigh (she/her) is currently in the process of working towards her Masters in Art Therapy and recently received her Certificate in Eco-therapists from Lewis and Clark College.
Kayleigh currently draws from person centered theory, relational cultural theory, poly-vagal theory, and experiential based approaches when working with participants. She believes that healing is experienced through compassionate, empathetic connection with others, the non-human natural world, and ourselves.
Creative expression is also an important aspect of Kayleigh’s work. She is passionate about supporting clients as they engage in creative processes that foster new ways of knowing.
In addition, Kayleigh strives to approach her work from a social constructivism framework, exploring the ways that social systems and intersectionality impact the lived experiences of those she works with. Her goal is to support participants as they move through their personal journeys of self-empowerment and healing.
Outside of work, Kayleigh loves going on hikes with loved ones, dancing whenever she gets the opportunity, and making art! She enjoys trying new things and going on adventures.
Kayleigh receives clinical supervision from Ivy Katz, a Licensed Professional Counselor at Heron Hill.
